Feline Leukemia


Feline leukemia or FeLV is a devastating and fatal retrovirus infection, highly contagious and shares similarities with the human AIDS virus. It is spread through close contact between cats. The veterinarians recommend heavy vaccination against the virus despite the fact that Cornell University proved that over sixty percent of cats got FeLV from the vaccine. The clinical trial results were reported in the New York Times!

FeLV can be acquired and lay dormant for years until the right immune response triggers the virus' spread and damage to the surrounding tissues. This results in an overall suppression of the immune system, leading to chronic diseases which eventually kills the cat.
