When talking about pet food there is two main characteristics about a company's products that we investigate. First, is the product made from human grade ingredients. One of the first items the consumer should look for is whether the product uses USA human grade ingredients. It is a known practice with many companies looking to cut costs to use the meat of an animal (cow, chicken, lamb, etc.)that has a known disease. Since the meat cannot be used for human consumption it is now sold for less to the pet food companies. Second, we investigate the quality control guidelines that these companies use to make their products.
